Lucy's second single boasts a grandiose Jazz/ Big Band arrangement, centric to her sonic influence. Released in February 2022, she enlists the talents of feature guitarist Connor Botherway-Hill to add to the immersive soundscape and colourful narrative experience. Underwater explores a sense of emotional desensitisation and distancing between loved ones; the feeling of trying to build momentum from mutual stillness.

CloudyVision

Cloudy Vision is the debut single by Lucy James, released in January 2021. Inspired by the storytelling of musical theatre, hypnotic soul/pop vocal stylings, paired back with an ambient acoustic soundscape, Cloudy Vision comments on the healthy reminder to navigate your mind with kindness. In today's world, it is imperative to know that even though your difficult moments may seem so definitive, they are so temporary.
